hey guys, when on a carb rotating diet (2 days lower and 1 day higher) do yall suggest replacing some of the missing calories on the lower carb days with some fat from nuts, peanut butter, salmon and other sources like that? Only small amounts of course only to get the total number of calories up to what they would be on a higher carb day. Or should one replace the calories with more protein?
Example if I need about 300 gram of protein per day while getting ready for competition, and am on a low carb day which I consume less than 50 grams of carbs and fat is extremely restricted also that will add up to less than 1500 calories ... So my question is isnt that to few even during contest preperation ?
