ive bin training for about a year now and i want to get serious about bodybuilding so ive bin doing some research on competitions in my area. so im asking when should i get really serious training and nutrition if my competition is 6 months away? any tips i would greatly take. thanks.
I feel that it is never too early to start your prep. If you are going to get a trainer to help with diet...etc do it now or if you are going to do it yourself like I did, start doing a lot of research now and ask lots of questions. There isn't some program that works for everyone so you have to try and tailor one for yourself and see what works and what does not. Usally actual diet and trauing specifically for a show starts 12-16 weeks out depending on how much you need to impprove or loose. Good luck and feel free to pm me with questions
Just like the above post stated it is never to early to start training. If it is 6months away try an pack on some more size before you start your cut phase. It is a trial and error sport and you just have to find as much knowledge as possible. I dieted down for mine about 2months out- but felt should of 2nhalf months out. You can always post a picture and people will be glad to help you
Good advise... How are you looking right now what are your specs? we might be able to help you out a little bit more with some more info... ex if you are 15 % bf or under you need to try and pack some more on 6 months out but if you upwards of of that you might want to start eating cleaner not cutting but cleaning up your diet to see how it affects your body like they said its trial and error... i'm here if you have any more questions
