I would pick something that you can flow to easily. Where you can transition from pose to pose. I used Maxwell's- womans worth.

But isnt it true with the slow music you need to be able to flow BETTER cause it al has to tie in more so than a semi up beat song.

From my experience watching novice shows. It is best to find music that fits you and is memorable. As far as the routine goes ... do poses that you have masted and focus on solid transitions. If you search for "Bob Cicherillo Part 4" he demos a basic 1 minute routine that should be easy to master and tweak to fit your personality. I am doing a variation of this for my show. That way you look confident and smooth. The guys that try too much just look stupid if they cant make it look perfect. just my $0.02.

personal suggestion, throw your ipod on shuffle and just let it go...do a light lift and just go through songs, whatever hits you is going to be the easiest one to flow too...doesnt need to be music u can dance too, but music you can move too...

Glad that helped. Notice how he stays in one place and doesnt move all around the stage. Too many guys try to pump up the crowd and are running all over the stage waving thier arms and doing fist pumps. You only have 1 minute so use it effeciently. Hit a pose ... hold it ... transition ... hit a pose ... hold it ... transition ... etc.

It's not for judging guy, it's just for him. I might suggest something with a less dynamic rythm. Example: Mutter by Rammstein, Holy Diver - Dio, The Battle from the Narnia soundtrack, Luciano Pavoratti has slower things that are good for posing. Another one that's slow enough for posing would be St. Anger by Metallica or Nothing Else Matters by Metallica also. If you cant time it properly, you can do it to the rythem of Jungle Love by Morris Day & The Time.
