This pose is one that can make or break you. there are three different types (crab most musclular, hands clasped most musclular, and hands on hips most muscular). i will go through all three.

Crab-Start out by putting your best leg forward, it doesnt really matter where your feet are, put them where you want. Start out by leaning forward, not to far, do it like a bent over row.push your traps up and your shoulders out, making you as wide as possible. bring your arms up and flex the **** out of them, make sure to keep your legs and abs flexed as well. thumbs inside your fist like always. This is my favoriet version of the most muscular pose, and the easiest to do IMO.

Hands Clasped- Start out by standing straight up. heels close together, toes out, sit on your legs. Bring your arms in and clasp your hands together. A little trick i learned from a guy is to grab your skin in your hands and pull it down to show your abs more, even if your already very lean this still helps.
push your hands together and spread your lats out slightly. flex yoru arms and shoulders. This pose is pretty hard and takes some practice.

Hands on hips-Start out by putting your better leg slightly forward and your heels close together. put your hands on your legs (i know it says hips, i didnt make up the name), try to put your wrist a bit below your hips. push on your legs to flex your arms and shoulders, spread your lats out and flex your chest inward. tense your abs and you have yourself a pretty sweet pose

(pics are in the order...crab, clasped, hands on hips)

this is the pose you need to know. if the class is close enoug htogether the judges will call this pose to them. At the show i did they called it for the overall....this pose made the one point difference the middleweight got to win the overall.

Start with your feet planted on the ground ( The judges may call this from the front or the back, its pretty much the same pose though). Put one leg back like you were to do a back double bicep(if your back was facing the judges), if your front is facing the judges, heels in, toes out. raise your arms into the air looking up to your wrist. your hands should be pointed outwards so the tops of your wrist almost touch. Push your back in and vacuum your stomach (it is almost imposible to flex your abs while in this pose and make it look good)make sure your lats are out as much as possible. Tumb inside hand with your forearms flexed. Make sure to flex your arms.

*note*- this pose is hard for anyone to look good in. think about it , two guys in history have pulled it off, lee preist and sergio olivia. i wouldnt recommend putting htis in your routine, i am only putting it in this thread incase the judges call it on you.

This pose is more of a gracefull pose then anything. you can do this one two ways.

Standing or kneeling. When standing, put your best leg forward, heels inward, toes outward. when kneeling, let one foot stay back while you bend the other knee forward. so....one leg will be straigh out, the other will be bent.

now. start off by putting one arm (try both arms and see which one looks better) in a bicep shot. like in a front double bicep. now, with the other arm reach out and point it straight. make sure to LOOK WHERE YOUR POINTING!! make sure the lat is spread outand your abs are flexed. This is called the archer pose because it looks like your shooting a bow and arrow, so, a good way to transition it into your routine is to act like your shooting a bow and arrow. the main thing is to look where you point.

I like this pose. you can put your feet like you were to do a side chest/ side tricep. or you could put them like it is in the pic (i prefer the way it is in the pic). Now, bring the arm your posing up and make your back show, dont bring it to close to your chest, but dont let it go that far out.....flex your arm, thumb inside your fist. now the trick is your other arm. you want it to show, but you dont want it sticking out. let it hang behind you but keep your elbow bent and your forearm and tricep flexed, keep your thumb inside your fist like always. push that arm up against your back to make both your back and your arm look thicker.bend your wrist up so your hand is facing outward behind you.

*Berd you look awesome!*

This is another good one, try to avoid it if your legs arent so great. Start out with your better leg, stick it out to the side, flex everything on it, calf, hamstring and quad. Flex the other leg as well and bend it slightly. now, use the arm that if on the same side as the stuck out leg, (if your left leg is stuck out, then use your left arm). Put it out and make it perallel with that leg. flex it hard, making sure that the lat is comming out with it. now, with the other arm do a slight lat spread with it, flex the arm, put your fist next to you hip making sure NOT to cover up your abs. Flex your chest and shoulders, you can either flex your abs or vacuum them in. make sure to look at your bicep, dont look toward the audience. the best place to look is right where your elbow bends, this makes your chin almost perallel with your arm & leg.

lol, glad you signed up dude. I told you in that PM that i cant do that one! the only way that the pose can look good is if your very very large. odds are that it will hurt more then help. but my guess would be to do this

*Hit a front DBL bi
*turn to whichever side you think looks best and let your leg follow you.
*crunch your obliques like you would a side crunch, and keep your arms tilted slightly forward...

That pose is a pain in the ass dude.
