hey guys im 8 days out from comp and looking very good. ive just got a question in regards to carb depletion and carbing up. right now and throughout my diet my carbs have been low. all i have for carbs is 1 cup of oats in the morning, 2 salads during the day (2 tomatoes, cucumber, onion), cup of oats pre workout baked potato post workout along with some coli and brocholli (steamed). as i think when i dry out ill look good should i carb deplete or just keep the same then carb up like 2 days b4. my comp is on a sunday so carb up like saturday. pizza with no cheese, no salami etc thin base. let me know if carbing up is necessary if i dont carb deplete will my glycogen stores be low with the amount of carbs im taking in atm. i do feel low in energy also. thanks

everybody feels low in energy during the diet, but the important thing is if you are getting more and more cuts or not. Since there is no picture, it's hard to comment whether you need carb depletion/loading, but if your show is on Sunday, you can go on low carb (50-100g) on Mon.Tue, and Wed. Make sure to drink enough fluid and increase your protein intake a little bit more if necessary. If you are already on contest condition, when you go on extremely low carb, your body should be looked like "shredded too much" coz body doesn't hold water and makes your skin tight. If not, you don't have to do anthing.

On Thur, Fri, and Sat, you can do carb loading, for me from about 200g. Protein should be 1g/lb. It's hard to say coz I don't know how much carb you take now and usually.
I like to eat rice cakes because it doesn't have sugar and dry. I've tried to carb up with rice, but since rice holds lots of water, it made my body looked smooth.
If you do carb loading, make sure you don't get any fat. If you do fat loading, I don't know about it.
If your condition is not ready enough, carb loading/depeletion or other stuff won't work.

ok. well im not sure on how many grams of carbs i take in atm to tell you the truth. this is approx what ill have in 1 day. 2 cups of oats, 1 cup of broc and coli, 2 tomatoes 1 cuccumba, 1 onion, 1 baked potato. how many grams is that. im doin the anb melbourne titles. its a natural competition. actualy i think i mite b having 275g carbs atm and have had great success. protein sitting around 1 pound/lb.

ok Im going to say that if u are working with someone else on a diet and have been the entire time....stick with them and them only....you get two or more opinions going and ur going to have problems....point blank...
if ur not working with someone...pick someones brain u can trust...this shoulda happened a long time ago...eight days is like studying for the barr exam on the way there.....good luck
if I were you I would pick someones brain u can trust (ie they know you and what the **** they are doing) and go from there....
