I normally lose about 1-2 lbs a week for 12 weeks before a contest. However I do occasionally only lose 1/2 a pound.

You should plan to lose 2lbs/wk at the very most otherwise you are losing a substantial amount of muscle.

Very important to remember is that weight loss or weight gain will NOT be linear.

If you want to cut that much weight you need to make sure you curb your calories enough. One pound=3600 calories, so you need to cut around 1000 calories from your base requirment.

i dont lse weight..i will continue bulking until i reach a very satisfactory weight..which i habe no idea wtf that poundage is lol...
whats a good bulk weight to peak at for a 6ft 5inch tall, 16 year old before cutting down? and to what weight should i aim to cut down to whiel still remaining sizeable (soon to be 17)

Keep bulking up but have a certain body fat percentage that you limit yourself to. Like don't go above 17 percent.

It really depends on your goals. I would say 15% but somewhere + - a few percent. What are your goals on cutting, do you want to compete or just look good? What time frame do you have? The longer you have the less muscle you will lose (if done correctly) but you will still inevitably lose some. It depends on what you refer to as sizeable. With your height you are going to need substantially more mass than someone 6' to look big.

It depends on how you look and your natural build. Your the best judge of where you need to be for your own satisfcation I'm 5'10, maybe 5'11 and I'm only 192 pounds right now and I feel so thin. I think after I get up to 230 240 i'll be happy.
