All I have to say is WOW! I learned so much about how my body reacts to certain foods and workouts getting ready for this show. I started 16 weeks outs weighing in at 225lbs. and got down to 170lbs. with very minimal body fat. The part of the prep that was the hardest for me was the last two days with the water and carb depletion. Once again a plug for Layne Norton, I used some of his advice and it worked great! Also, I used Gumby's advice for applying my color using the pro tan/dream tan combo and everyone said my color was the best. I managed to to place 2nd in the middleweight division. I talked with the judges later and they said I had the morning show won, but needed to work more on my posing and individual routine. If I would of had that up tight I would of gotten first. This being my first show, people said that posing just comes with time and loads of praticing. I am now back in the gym and adjusting my diet to get ready for another show in October. It was a great experience!!! If anyone needs advice on dieting, training, and/or getting ready for a show, I am in the middle of studying to get my personal trainers cert. and of course preparing for another show, just pm me. I just want to thank Gumby, Layne, and everyone else that helped me prepare for my first show. Thanks!!!!

I am having a hard time trying to post my pics. Can someone help me out? I already tried the "manage attachments" button and it said the file was too big.

That's excellent man, congratulations. And I'm in the Air Force as well, so even more props. It must've been a pain in the butt to do all the contest prep, especially the eating, with what the military demands from us. What is your job btw? I'm a crew chief at RAF Lakenheath.
