Ok i have some pro tan that i m going to use. When do i need to start applying it to my face, same time as the rest of my body, or should i buy something else for my face?

if you dont apply to face it will be lighter than the rest of your body, it may clump, make sure you exfoliate to get away the dead skin.

You want your face dark, but you don't want it to be too dark otherwise it looks funny. I put three coats of Competition color by Jan tana on my body and 2 coats on my face. My gf also applys some makeup which makes it blend really well. There is a lot of preparation to stepping on stage, you have worked hard to present a package and don't want anything off.

i did the same thing, one or two less coats on your face.

also do your face the night before and morning of the show, it will smear if you do it any earlier

guys u should use make up for ur face
use mac stage foundation make up nc 45-nc 50 i have both i blend them together
till i get the perfect sahde.
ur face should be one shade lighter than ur body.

u should also blend it into ur neck and dont forget ur ears.
pro tan really dries out ur skin on ur face, and plus u dont want to walk around looking like an idiot when that stuff starts to face.
u also dont want to scrub ur face to hard to try to get it off

ull spend about 80$ at the mac counter for the 2 shades

but they will be good for a long time

Protan didn't do ANY of that to my face.

I used one coat the last two nights leading up to the show. They were each two very light coats (like you use around knees and elbows etc). I tried makeup the day of the show but I didn't like it. I then just smeared a LIGHT coat of dreamtan on my face and everything worked out great. It also came off my face fairly easily that night.

To each his own I suppose. Just experiment with each show until you find what you like best.
