Strong as hell man. Made 315 look easy.

One suggestion I can make, start using hook grip not mixed. The bicep isn't meant to handle that kind of load, and when you get to 2x body weight or more on dead lifting, it has a much higher chance to tear. I can show you proof if you do not believe me. I'd rather see you use hook grip and have to strap in than go any higher in weight and tear a bi.

the whole thing is Cork is in Powerlifting meets you cant use straps in mostly all federations. Im training for a meet when i feel ready i can get first. My weakness's are locking out my deadlift and my squat, my bench isnt great either.

Once i can get a 350 Bench 500 deadlift and a 400+ squat ill look for a show.

Huge discomfort when trying to learn hookgrips. It's usually what the Olympic lifters do but you can try it out.

You made it look easy Matt! Don't wait to get to a certain level. You will probably win right now and its not even about that. Go out and meet people; get experience so you know what its like. You are moving huge weight.

Can you use chalk at the meets? My hook grip in the beginning was pretty bad, but within a couple of weeks I built great strength in my forearms.

when they say you cant use chalk in the gym just say you wont do it again and act like you didnt know... work the top part of the deadlift so you dont have to hitch because thats not allowed in powerlifting comps thats why people use baby powder to put on their knees so the bar will slide or else theyll get a no lift....

chain deadlifts, rack pulls, and upper back exercises

very impressive man, great form throughout you didnt sacrifice form for weight. keep up the good work, take a rosin bag in, its not as good as block chalk but its alot cleaner and alot less noticeable
