I've seen that vid, and I didn't know about the GH prescription. But still it goes to show you that those IFBB pros have amazing genetics. I wish I looked half that good at 16. (*post edit-I wish I looked half that good now!)

Bullcrap. If he was given growth hormone, he would have become taller, because his growth plates hadn't fused by age 16. THE ONLY WAY HE STAYED THAT SHORT was if he was ALREADY using testosterone, which would have caused his growth plates to fuse and keep him that short. Which, by the looks of it, is exactly whats going on.

Or he's simply just short. Just because GH can cause growth plates to fuse doesn't mean that it did. The sun can cause cancer, but does that mean a cancer patience walking outside got it from the sun? No. To get a better guess if he's naturally short or not is to find out if his parents/family were tall/short.

I didn't say growth hormone causes them to fuse. In fact it does that opposite, thats why its called GROWTH hormone, not "stay short and become a pro bodybuilder" - hormone. Testosterone ABSOLUTELY DOES cause growth plates to close. There is no getting around that. The sun causing skin cancer is a TOTALLY difference mechanism, you can't compare them. What I was saying was that he was probably using testosterone from the start, which made his plates close, because at age 16 his physique doesn't look natural, especially when you see him putting 4 plates on whatever the heck exercise he was doing.
