Go to any bodybuilding show and youll see them, always wearing the tight tank tops, arms held out as though they are carrying two imaginary carpets under them, legs kept far appart to avoid imaginary inner thigh shaffing "doing the walk". They are there year after year and to me always look the same, maybe a bit more round the gut( cos their geting older lol) telling people how great they will be once they get on stage MAYBE next year. The most outstanding muscle they have is their jaw muscles, but the egos of these some of these people is massive. I once was approached by a guy with my mate after winning a show, he held in his gut, he was so red I thought he'd been on a sunbed, he thrust out chest and did the walk over to me, he told me his plans to take the british stage by
storm and how he hadnt seen anything to worry him. I took him back stage to " look at him" he had no quads, no calfs, bitch tits, ok arms, lat width but no thickness and was about 20 bf, I was diplomatic and suggested he look into his diet and train hard for the next 3 yrs and when he was ready, go for a small local show, but by this time, big Kev Alder( always the diplomat lol) was passing and said " F**K me mate youre body is shit, Id forget competing, loose about 6 stone and youll look alright to go to the beech" The guys head went down, but he was soon strutting around again telling his mates me and Kev " knew nothing" lol
