No doubt impressive as hell. Form was great, I don't know who could say it was bad, even when he hit 40 reps he still maintained form. He doesn't weigh much more than what he was pressing either, maybe 20 lbs.?? Thats insane!!!!! Most serious lifters couldn't do their bodyweight for 15, yet alone 47!!!! Phil is a beast.

Do that same range of motion your next chest workout. I've tried it and it is by far much harder than full range of motion.

I'm really sourprised none of you know what military bench press is , but I guess if it's not american invention, you don't.

ANyway, military bench press is the best way to bench without any cabability to cheat or anything. Lift your knees up in the air. You won't get any support from anything or anything.

Ah, makes sense, with the normal military press I always lift my leggs too

yes yes jornt, I just got an impression most of you guys didn't even know what it is , never mind.

I'm reacting this way because Phil is OVER 225lbs of solid muscle, and he is one of the best bb'rs there is, and the amount of weight the bar had wasn't even phil's bodyweight, so I just wasn't impressed by that.

Everything is proportional imho. If that would've been Phil's bodyweight, I would've been impressed even if it wasn't military bench press because if he could get so many reps with his bodyweight, he would military press 5-7 reps less anyway, so it WOULD HAVE been a high class result.

in the NFL I think the highest ever done was 49 reps with 225. Think about it, the NFL. Some of those guys are stronger than world class powerlifters. Not saying Phil is, but he deserves more respect than what he's getting from everyone in this thread.
