Found this in the book "Sliced" which talks about all the different bodyfat percentages. To me this guy looks ill. IMO too sliced. The ripped 7-9% would be my ultimate goal.

My god.... i could never have imagined anyone can actually look like that :roflwtf

What does everybody think? Would they want to be this sliced?

Yeah i know like when i look at it, just freaks me out, makes you a bit sick honestly lol. Though he must have insane genetics to hold that size at that bodyfat, either that or he's juicin a ****load . He's about 3% maybe 2% BF!!! and his water is at 0.

just to clarify...3% is really the minimum anyway can go for bodyfat. 2% of your bf is contained in places that cannot be lost and is essential.

for women its different. but this is a general rule for men

Spot on justlift and it can only be obtained and maintained for a few hours. I remember Titus saying he got so lean for a contest that the pads of his heals were worn away so he was down to the bone.

That would make it hard to support 250+ pounds....

btw metalmx, you said you want that 7-9% range ripped? hate to tell you but you won't be ripped at 9%. 9% is a solid % but you aren't going to be seeing striations all over. maybe in your shoulders.

haha actually freak the reason i know that 2% thing is there was a thread on here way back when, a kid comes on and says his friend was 1 or 2% body fat for a show. he was pretty positive lol

Yes YEARS. He's skinny, so he assumed super skinny, he has low body fat. The thing is, he knew nothing about bodybuilding at all. He was trying to tell me that his muscle fiber type made it easier for him to keep fat low. I just laughed, left the chat. He wouldn't listen to what i was trying to say, but it was hilarious.

Yeah muscle fiber. Slow twitch, fast twitch. His logic was that he was slow twitch dominant so he didn't hold onto body fat.

LMAO, probably would, throw in a few tubs of Cellmass, trumass, massmass. He said he was in his 30s too, I felt bad for him.

Most go into shows between 3 and 5% and thats only for a couple of days most of the time I have been at around 6-7 all year and dropping down a little for all the shows.That was hard as hell so I couldnt imagine trying anything less.

I think if someone goes into a show at 5% they are going to lose. I'd say 3-4%.

not necessarily but they could very well.Depends on lots of other things to.I think in the last show I was 4.2% but if someone with 5% but tight and more muscle maturity or evem could represent theirselves better by that i mean posing or even just standing.You can be ripped and still not have the muscle seperation or the striations that you need.Look at the guy in the pic in this thread what i see of his abs dont look that great yet he is shredded as hell

I know that 2.3% for a male is essential bodyfat... though as i said this dude has some killer genetics! Jay at 3% doesn't look anywhere near as sliced as this dude. All to do with genetics.... ronnie at 15% looks more cut than jay at a lower bf.
