About the diet you may just need more calories. If you were eating junk before you may have been getting lots of calories. When you eat clean sometimes the food can be very filling and you don't eat anough.
I'm not saying eat just junk food but it may help to to eat a little junk like a few burger/pizza here and there to get in the extra calories.
