Until recently I've been using HIT training and hit the gym with the intensity of a Lion, as of latley though I've been aproaching the weights with an almost Buddhist like calm. I havent been making much in the way of strength gains but it has been bringing out alot of detail that I didn't see before.

I'm not as concerned with what weight I'm moving so much as the actual movement itself. It's almost like time slows down as I watch the weight move up and down.

can you yet catch a fly between two dumbbells while doing flat bench? When you accomplish this, grasshopper, you accomplish nirvana of iron.

I rotate back and forth myself. when I start to go through burnout, I kinda chill more and just focus on keeping everything moving and maintaining. But after a while I start to get bored with that and want to push myself hard again.

I go blind on some lifts too, that's a bit scary. Then I see spots. I hate that.

I think you missunderstood Mygeeto, I think he was saying that he does his lifts blind meaning that he closes his eyes and doesn't watch the weight. This way there are no distractions and you can give your complete focus on the task at hand
