I put off bodybuilding when my son was born, mainly to help care for him,, ( no instruction manual came with him ) ,, after a while things got easier and we ( wife and I ) could split time in the workouts to get them in..
During naps or I would entertain him and then she would entertain him. Honestly he did NOTHING except sit there and stare at you.
So having time to workout was a premium.. I made time when I could. Now having 2 son 6 and daughter ( dare I say it) almost 3,wow,, time flyes.. Son is more independant and daughter harsses him,, ( I love that part) LOLOLOL,,,
I work 12 hours shifts, 3 on 2 off 2 on,, with every other weekend off.. So I hit the gym at the end of the day, 45 minutes,, It's my release, my venting time.. ( not to get gunho) ITS MY WAR ON THE WEIGHTS. On my days off I go to a local gym that use to sponsor tournaments,,DEANS FITNESS on Route 22 in Murrysville.. Deans got everything I need , I get in and get out,, I do everything I CAN'T do at home in the gym. So to answer your question, with heart felt joy,, KIDS COME FIRST to me.. The weights come second.. That's the way I roll, MOM taught me well,, god rest her soul,, she's watching.
My wife is very supportive in my bodybuilding world, She's also impressed with my accomplishments, being that I have no one to help me and it's all trial and error on my part.. Between freak, lbj and your other comments, I may in fact step on stage next year if i Dial my diet in.. Nothing would give me greater pleasure than to step on stage and pose and have pictures to back me up..
