i mean no offense to anyone in any way... but i live in the bayarea (san fransisco.. oakland and im even close to sanjose) so more asians there then most any other state. if i had to say about thier genetics id say they weren't too good. they are usally small. like short and very skinny and for the most part no muscle.. i think it just depends on how the person trains and how much they have it in them. one time i flexed my bicep at work and the guys thought that was pretty good. then one guy said something about how it was genetics and how he wasnt too impressed. and how he could lift all he wants and never look like that if he wanted to... that pissed me off.. i train my balls off to look the way i do. and thats not saying a whole lot. i mean sure i look better then someone who doesnt lift my size. but dont take it away from someone due to genetics. anyone could build a great body. sorry it just kinda bugs me a little.

i totally agree with that though, orientals are usually shorter and naturally have less mass, probably down to natural low test levels. im oriental myself.

my friend has scottish and polish roots and he is a wide boy, even before training. think africans and polish people have some of the highest narural test levels thats why black people probably manage to stay lean, with the bmr costantly being high and all, just a guess though.

part of it is down to genetics although unless your competing, it shouldnt really matter anyway as regardless of where you were from, without the high intensity training and a proper organised diet, your not going to move from square 1.

I got to meet Kris about 2 years ago, he help me put on about 30 pounds just by changing my diet. Great guy!

At the time that I met him he owned a vitamin store called Max Muscle, and he calculated how much protein I need and how much carbs I needed. Then he picked all the supplements that I should be taking. Just basic stuff, but for what ever reason, I followed it to a tee for a year and I went from 165 to 192 in about 6months. I'm sure a lot of it wasn't quality weight, but I didn't care because I'm not looking to compete anytime soon. But I got in a car accident earlier this year, so I haven't quite got back a track yet.

I think ancestry has alot to do with how your body develops. My ancestors came from Germany and Norway (vikings) and my whole family is BIG, I'm 6'2" @ 255lbs and I just started lifting a couple of years ago, even then I havent been steady at it.

am a Haka so we're pretty big especially in the legs. i shouldent be tall because for 3 or 4 generations there have only been "small people" in the family.(all under 5ft 10''), yet i look totally outa place in my family at 6ft 5''. they've all been heavily built but not tall.

i see i see, well my ancestry too goes back to the vikings, well visigoth times but not sure how they got into the philippines! lol

im short as you would know (dim is pretty short too), currently about 205lbs at 5'7 with abs faintly visible but just that, im not big enough :( and its hard to get wide. bah humbug, i guess more juice, more rice, more chicken and more beef will do the trick.
