The plates are made from cardboard and vinyl...... Jorn made this pic late last year :) Looks like he needs to start cutting though :)

That pic was actually just an example of perfect timing.
The barbell had actually fallen through the ceiling just a second before the shot was taken and Magnus was trying to catch it as the shot was taken.
However, the weight simply continued crashing to the floor, pulling him down with it.
