i use to live down the block from dave. he would come into my uncles pizzaria that i worked in all the time and spent countless hours at mcdonalds. to me he has been a nice guy, never mean or arrogant. what i want to know is why does this guy have such a bad rap??? we all know about the steriods and jail time but there has been a dislike of him way before that in my opinion. why doesnt this guy have a procard?

if you respond by saying because he was in jail, you need to be kicked in the nuts. this is about before that and why he doesnt have a procard.

Same here, I usually read his column in MD. It seems like what he went to jail for was no big deal at all and could've happened to anyone. Honestly, I saw a lot of pictures of him when he was younger compared to now I think he had a much better physique so I think that's why he gets a bad rap. He's got like that pure, unapologizing, rock-hard muscle but his midsection had gotten pretty bad and despite his extreme condition and vascularity. Seems like a really nice guy though, those two interviews with him before and after he went to jail in MD were great reads. People on boards will always find someone to rip on though, shame it has to happen to a nice guy...then again...his new training video? Come'onnnn, Dave...you're better than that

He went to jail for distributing growth hormone to several of his clients and friends, and the growth hormone turned out to be fake. According to Dave, he was taking the exact same stuff himself and had no knowledge that it wasn't what it was labeled. Nobody got hurt from the incident and Dave took his punishment like a man. You act like selling growth hormone is something uncommon in this community and that only "bad guys" end up getting the counterfeit stuff. Dave's a nice guy that found himself into a shitty situation. We could do without the sarcasm. I doubt someone who attended a few years of med school would knowingly give people and take fake shit when his column in MD informs people on how to correctly use anabolic substances.

Oh, and I don't know of many people that inject growth hormone intravenously, do you?

Palumbo would probly be better of without the pro card, i've heard he had ALLOT of health realated problems.

I think most ppl like the ones who don't like atwood, judge him by his physique (btw how tha hell do you spell that correctly?) he is has an "ugly" physique so ppl think that he is arrogant i guess.

Yea Palumbo's front double bi is pretty retched. He's genuine though, believes in what he does and informs people correctly to prevent misinformation from hurting others. I would say in terms of steroids, he is a martyr for his cause. He has damaged his name by openly advocating steroids. This isn't liked by the IFBB. But in the end, if you see the photos of his contests, he loses fair and square-usually second to the new pro.
