Was just posting this becuase i can't stand when people try to say that bodybuilders are slow. I am 18, 5'7, weigh around 185, and have a 29"waist and everyone thinks that i am slow. This past summer of my senior year, they had an ironman competition and though i was going to get smoked in all the running events. I was against all the football players and track members. I broad jumped 8'9", did 16 reps with 225 on the flat bench, did a 4.4sec 40, a 6.6sec 60, and all while depleted for a show, which was 2 weeks away! Just thought i'd post this cuz i'm tired of people thinking this, I may be pretty big but i'm also pretty fast, so tell them haters to watch out!

good stuff man!!
thats awesome that u could pull that off. i hate how many ppl would bag out ppl like bodybuilders becuase they LOOK huge so they cant be fast, of they are fast but they LOOK like they cant be strong. ppl just see whats on the surface. meanwhile im sure alot of these ppl arent either, fast or strong. they call themselves elite athletes whilst their sport that they are champion in or soemthing is something like poker, darts, or ten pin bowling, which as "sports" off next to no cardiovascular or muscular benefit. bad from keeping ur face muscles tight while trying to keep your poker face.

but dont worry about all those ppl man, just go out there, kick everyones arse, and then look for those same ppl who claim all these things, and i bet you wont be able to find them anywhere...pussys!!

Makes me laugh when I read that people sday BBer's are slow, when if they took a moment to think about what they were saying - the opposite is actualkly true (up to a point), to get faster at running you have to increase the muscles in your legs through training - what is it that BBer's do every leg day then?
Some people just amaze me with their ignorance.
