Im seriously freaking out! Im a volume trainner and needed a break and decided to try something new. I gave mike's Heavy duty work out a go. I have just completed his chest/back work out which was fucking hard! My hands and chest where literally shaking when I drove home. I have waited 2 day's (usually you should wait between 3-6days).

My Chest has shot up a whole inch!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

47inches to 48inches.

Can't wait to get to the arm and shoulder work out!

I think I might stick to this work out if it is going to yeild results like this fro the first work out!

I just followed the heavy duty 0.99 faq that I posted up. The workout in the article.

Im still shocked! I know it's early days but I will keep posting progress on this routine.

The more you think about HIT and the more you try it, the more you will not return to the volume training.

Mentzer's HIT dvd is a must as well as his book High Intensity Training the Mike Mentzer way

canablistic_Turnip, HIT training is brutal!

If you rest enough (4 - 7 days between workouts), you will see improvement after every workout either in strenght, more reps or both.

I don't think many volume trainers can say that especially if you don't use roids.

As to your results after only one workout, the same thing happened to Dorian Yates.

After his first workout with Mentzer, he phoned Mentzer the next day and wanted to learn more as his arms were bigger after only ONE set of Nautilus curls to failure.

yeah I can only think that I must have been serriously overtraining. like I said I can't wait for the arms shoulder routine!
