Does anyone think he Alex will live up to the hype the industry has create for him? If he can build up his chest and recover completly from his pec tear, do you think since he is young he can possibly be top 5 in the O some day??

I personally would like to see him, and Branch Warren in the top 2 in 4 or 5 years

Branch Warren is much closer, YEARS closer to be in the top 4 than Federov is.

He really would need to recover completely from the pec tear, aesthetically speaking. With BF as low as it would have to be come Mr O time, is he really ever going to be symetrical again? Does anyone ever completely heal from something like that? I'm sorry to say I don't think so.

I really don't think that Federov will ever live up to all the hype and his condition at the olympia speaks for itself. His excuse was that he had jet lag and his body didn't react favorably to travel. Wouldn't it make just a bit more sense to fly over to the states a few weeks prior so as not to leave anything to chance? It is after all the Olympia, right? Was it really water retention though? I mean the guy looked 6 weeks out! Even if he came in bone dry and shredded would it truly help his symmetry? His legs are way out of proportion with his upper body, his pec makes him look terrible in most front poses and his back just isn't wide and thick enough to hang with that leg development which by the way is in dire need of separation, striations, et.al. Overall, I'd much rather talk about Branch Warren's amazing improvements and condition. He's the one to watch out for.

I don't think the hype was way too much for him to ever live up to what they thought he would be. I really feel bad for him that has to be a tremendous amount of pressure to deal with day in and day out.
