I've been reading a lot of posts about how people want Cutler to beat Coleman in 2006. Before everyone puts up a fuss, just listen to me on this one. Ronnie is going for his 9th Sandow which we all know would be the record. If you ask me this would be a horrible time for Cutler to "decide" to win the Olympia. Yes, I am basically saying Cutler should let Coleman win. You have to think of it this way: If you are a baseball fan, and you are watching a game and the pitcher is throwing a perfect game. Its the bottom of the 9th, two outs and two strikes on the batter. If you are like me, you would hate to see the batter get a walk or a hit. You want the pitcher to have a perfect game right? Even if I do not like the pitcher, if he gets that far, he should have it. Same thing with Ronnie. Ronnie has gotten this far, she should have it. I realize that Cutler says every year he will win and blah blah blah. If this was a couple of years ago when coleman had 6-7 sandows, then I wouldnt really care if Cutler would beat Coleman. But now?! After Coleman has made it this far? Especially when Cutler is in his lower 30's and Coleman is over 40. And, if Ronnie does win his 9th and goes for a 10th I could really careless if Cutler would beat Coleman then. But, I just think Coleman has worked this hard and made it this far, let him have the record.

I think Coleman is pushing it. He's the biggest champ ever, and yet he's insinuating that he's THE ABSOLUTE BEST EVER. He should have retired this year IMHO. Even the fixed judges don't want to be too obvious, Coleman could well be in a surprise on 2006.

Whats a record anyway? Arnold will always be the best of all time.
You could argue arnold won 11 mr olympias as the competetion in his lay off was so lackluster in comparison to him he made a comeback after 5 or 6 years and still won. So every year he was retired he would of techniquely won. Coleman doesn't have 11 in him. :P and Jay doesn't have 1 in him.

of course, what am i thinking? since Cutler lost the judges are obvioulsy fixed.

all i am saying is Cutler is the only one who could give Ronnie a run. Even though I dont think Cutler has reached that yet. Jay still has time to grow being as young as he is and I just think it would be horrible to see someone get as far as Ronnie to only have it taken away. Like I said before with the whole baseball comparison. I used to play baseball and I've never been involved in a perfect game or no hitter; but everyone I've ever played baseball with said if there was a perfect game against us, and it was late in the game, we would just let the pitcher pitch and have his perfect game. You have to look at it as an acknowlegdement. Ronnie has worked so hard his entire career, hes so close to the record and to be that close only to have it taken away would be horrible.

and pickle...i understand what you mean but im talking about the "official" record. since i used to play baseball, i can understand how Ronnie would feel about having this record. It's something I really can't explain, you just have to have some personal experience with it.

Diesel I agree with you on every aspect you said, I think Ronnie as mentioned by Sean Ray several times has a better muscle maturity, his muscles are DENSE and hard, specially in the lower back/upper middle back, i think Cutler has a long way to make before he can even think he deserves to win the Olympia, and i do respect Jay Cutler as a bodybuilder, hes a hard worker but so does Ronnie Coleman, I dont know if theres a "deserve" in bodybuilding but Ronnie Coleman deserves to hold that mr Olympia record, before Gustavo Badell or Jay Cutler can complain why they didn't beat him, just take a good look on how Ronnie Coleman looks near them, after he retires he SHOULD get remembered as the greatest bodybuilder of all times.

-excuse my english it's late night.

A famous Australian athlete, who had his record broken once said " we don't own records, we just hold them for a while". Like Arnold, Ronnie is awesome if won 1 olympia or 15. I agree it would be great if Ronnie wins 10, BUT he has to earn them or they are empty wins and bring no credit to our most prestiges Title "Mr Olympia". On working with your theory I wish Labrada, Ray and Wheeler had of won the Olympia as well but hey, you got to earn it and Ronnie can win for as long as he is hungry, he don't need Jay to give it to him.

Ronnie will win the 06 O on his own, he doesnt need anyone ei. square head Cutler to let him.. Ronnie is by far the most genetically gifted athlete to ever grace the bodybuilding stage.. he knows what he wants to do... sure he is geting older but the man has heart and knows that God is watching his every move... Ronnie cant be stopped until he retires.. end of story.

Agree 100%!

In fact, I think Ronnie is going to shock everyone in 2006.

This year he played the small waist game, but as the "new" judging standards didn't change the placings, in 2006 he will be back on track like he was in 2003 and 2004.

Absolutely awesome, freaky and unbeatable!
