As he prepares for the upcoming Mr. Olympia, Dexter Jackson shared his thoughts on a variety of topics. Last years 3rd place finisher discusses Ronnie, Jay, the new judging format, and his chances of making another Olympia splash.

[ Q ] Can Ronnie Coleman be defeated?

A: I don't think there is a man on earth that could defeat Ronnie if he's on.

[ Q ] You and Jay Cutler are truly apples and oranges in every sense of the word. How do you compare yourself to him?

A: There is no comparison between Jay's and my physique.

Although, our desire to win is pretty much the same… we both hate to lose!

[ Q ] Who, in your opinion is the most over-rated athlete among today's pros?

A: No comment!

[ Q ] Do you like the new Challenge Round? What pose will you choose against Ronnie and Jay?

A: I think the challenge round will be exciting for the fans. I haven't yet decided what pose I'm going to use against Ronnie and Jay. I'll decide when I see what they're looking like the day of the show.

[ Q ] Did you deserve 3rd place at this year's Arnold Classic?

A: No! Everyone knows I should have won that show. I would have gladly accepted Chris winning, but no way Jay should have won.

[ Q ] Last year you solidified yourself as a legitimate Olympia contender. Do you feel a new level of pressure now that you're hanging with the big boys?

A: No, I don't feel a new level of pressure. My goal is to try to come in every show better than the previous one and things will be just fine. So, I'm more or less competing against myself. That is what drives me.

[ Q ] As the defending champ, why did you withdraw your name from the GNC show?

A: I withdrew because I felt I should focus on the O. I'm glad I made that decision. It gave me time to completely devote all my time and energy into my training and not worry if I can peak for two shows.

[ Q ] What improvements will we see in Vegas?

A: I will be better than last years O and GNC! Period. If you think I was in awesome shape last year, I promise I will be even better this time around.

Dan, you know I'm not the type of person to blow smoke. When I say I'm gonna do something, I do it.
