Meh, I see amusing things all the time, but I could care less. I'm more focused on what I'm doing. What about the funny things that you have done? Man, I remember doing crunches on the ball. Twisting to hit the obliques...just kept going...for failure. I usually do 25 reps for 5 sets....well, I guess I did one too many, and when I moved to sit up, my abs contracted so violently I rolled off the ball and went down to the floor.
I rolled out to stretch, trying to breathe and relax, but I would chuckle cause I thought to myself, "shit, do I need an ambulance? how pussy is that going to look, I'll never be able to show my face at the gym again" (something like that) and imagined myself asking for help from the girl next to me and how stupid it would sound. (I'm a young guy mind you, in my twenties--so the joke "i've fallen and i can't get up" would probably had sounded like a come on) Soon as I started laughing, abs would tighten up something
fierce... I'd mentally relax (trying to gain control of what appeared to be involuntary spasms). I rested for like 5 minutes the contraction stopped and I was a-ok to leave the gym.
It happens once in a while when I go too far with my ab training, but I know when it is about to come on and completely stop.
