regardless of his fantastic genetics and solid training regiment he is still a drug cheat, in my honest opinion steroids are becoming far too socially acceptable...
im not saying not to use it, do whatever you want but dont expect praise for your synthetic achievements, its ludicrous to even consider these lifts as anything other than miracles of modern chemistry.

Its like playing a video game and entering the god mode and all weapons cheats.. what the hell is the point...

and thats my $4 bucks

lol

Seriously, its pointless to put others down about the use of steroids in bodybuilding, its an already endlessley debated topic. Society has judged it illegal, but personally, I think it should just be regulated instead. Big ups for Eddie...that bench is MASSIVE for a guy that age, STEROIDS OR NOT.

wow now this fires me up 2 bench more b4 i turn 19 in a couple of months 2 break the record lol...but althought i dont have an ego with bench pressing and i always strat my chest workouts with an incline movment and am still struggling with 3 plates which i think is a weak point 4 me.....but i also have my strong points on squats and deadlifts.......

You could cause a lot of deaths if it ever became legal. Think about it how many kids kill themselves getting behind the wheel when there pissed. Guaranteed steroid abuse if it became legal.

I'm against steroid use myself, but dude, you will get trashed on these boards speaking against them. So just go with the flow.... I'm sure he would've been strong as hell without 'roids, maybe not as strong, but strong.
Everyone has their drug of choice, and quite frankly, I would rather see people on 'roids other than crack or meth. At least they stand a chance of not losing everything they own in the process.
To compete at a pro level, it's a no brainer you have to take them.

Ronnie benches 500 at a bodyweight of almost 300. He's the world's strongest bodybuilder, and a former powerlifter, and he deffinetly does more juice than that "kid".

And yet the very first reply was "steroids!"

Good point, but if you read what I wrote you'll see that I mentioned that it's use should be regulated. Specifically, I think steroids should only be administered at specialised clinics with the use of tests to ensure you are not running a dangerously high risk of sufferring any long-term side-effects. Look, a lot of bbers and normal ppl do steroids without sufferring any noticeable side-effects. So why punnish those who can take it just because a minority will abuse it, or some are not able to take it because their body's are not able to. By keeping steroids in clinics, I think it will make steroid use a LOT safer than already is. BUT by keeping it illegal, it cuts off the possibility for doctors to ensure you are'nt doing any serious harm. What do you reckon...

How did they train in the program to maximize strength?!?
