Best weightlifting shoe.

Trying to find out what the all around most comfortable, best weightlifting shoes out there are?

yeah their really isnt no absolute answer since it depends on the person but every powerlifter uses converse

Thats what I have. I had some made at converse.com (Chuck Taylor All Star Hi Canvas) but was wondering if there was something out there that everyone else was using...

To me it's whatever is comfortable. I don't really have a specific "go-to" shoe. I have a couple of pairs of some lightweight track shoes that I use for leg days and what not.

When it comes to powerlifting type moves a flatter sole is ideal. With Olympica Lifts there are special shoes that are made for it, can be pricey, tend to have a slight raised heal so that is solid not like nike shox or anything like that.

Right now i am rocking NB. I base my shoe on the cardio. I want a shoe that is comfortable during cardio dont really care about when lifting. But the Converse are very common, sme guys lift in boots. Adidas has some pretty flat sole shoes like the shell toes aswell.

I like lifting in my socks on my PL lifts but other than that i wear New Balance they are cheap and overall decent shoe.

Cosign. You can spread athletes foot doing this, (not that I'm saying you have it, but other people walking around the gym wih no shoes may) just be careful.

I had it in highschool. Worse time of my life, besides the chicken pocks and getting my ass beat my a 250lbs guy on cocaine. Yes that last part was true lol.

Converse aren't exactly a weightlifting shoe, though.

Just depends on whether the OP wants shoes for weightlifting, or shoes for lifting weights in.

I would say these cause its what I wear and they are outrageously comfortable especially on leg day!

I would prefer to not wear shoes, but gym is an*l about it, looking for whats comfortable...
