I just got some BigBack Grips and must tell all you guys that they are worth a try. No I am not a "plant". I love how they feel with all movements pulling or pushing. I have used straps for over 30 years and thought I 'couldn't leave home without them'. They are easy to use and there is no slipping whatsoever. And with straps your hands tend to move off the bar as the reps continue, not with these. They stay true until you're done. And if you are a false-grip (thumbless grip) user these are the answer.
Well there you have it. If you've tried them or plan to in the near future leave your comments in this thread.

Bro, I said I am not a 'plant'. I purchased them 2 weeks ago, received within 4 days and have used them ever since. I do think they are great and very beneficial with one's training. They are so inexpensive. You (TPS154) should try them and give your feedback. Your feedback would be very credible.
PM me your mailing addy and I will personally send you a pair. Deal? Good.

I gave them a run this morning, I forced one of my freinds to hand over one of his "precious" gym passes. Did back for the first time in a while. I have two pairs of gloves I go to, one pair of nike gloves that are pretty lightweight that I just use towards the ends of workouts when I feel like my calluses might rip. At my gym there are a lot of deeply textured bars so it's happened a few times too many. I also have a pair of valeo ocelot gloves with built in wrist straps, the gloves are pretty thick and I use them only when I'm going to go heavier than usual and I want to prevent tearing my calluses.

Now onto the big back grips. I used them on heavy shrugs, I was only able to get up to 85 pounds on the dumbbells, its been a long time. Lat pulldowns, one arm rows and deads. I basically just cycled between the nike gloves, the grips and the valeo gloves. I gotta say that the grips felt better than my nike gloves, pretty comfortable, convenient since my gym doesn't allow chalking. I do like my valeo gloves above all of them, but for their price the grips performed better than my nike gloves.

For your average lifter that's going into the gym I think they are a good deal, I felt they help as much as a decent glove would but at a better price. They prevented the skin under my fingers from pinching, which is usually the reason why going heavy on pull days sucks. I know there are guys that don't like to use any sort of hand protection, but I've had calluses rip open and get infected.

Just want to remind people that if you put "Bodybuilding Dungeon" in the delivery instructions, we'll toss in an extra pair to whatever your order.

I've been using the products for 2 months now and have noticed an outstanding improvement, when you come to those last sets in your workout why would you want your hands to give out before your body does these have kept me working out with heavier weight for long enough to have me convinced...

Alas, if the Post Office were open you'd have them tomorrow, but better to respect our veterans on Veteran's Day. You should have them by Friday since we ship from Los Angeles.

Adam is a great friend of Big Back Grips. He got us into Max Muscle and I hadn't even met him. Adam loves them. That's why he's on the site.

Where do you lift if I can ask?

I don't know about La Habra, but the LA Fitness's in LA proper have a lot of rubber-coated bars. Big Back makes a big difference on rubber, especially since the rubber can get degraded. And on metal handles, like they have at most Gold's, they make a rocking difference.

Gold's on Hollywood, Downtown and Venice have a lot of metal handles worn smooth. And a lot of the rough ones. They love us in those gyms.

Bally's also has lots of bare metal.

And Big Back really rock on the super rough "knurled" metal bars.

agree i felt the most difference on the rubber coated handles/bars. also, when the bar is really old/worn they help a ton (esp. pull exercises)

Just got mine in today. Pretty excited to try them out today with my arm workout. Missed the back workout by one day lol. I'll post up a review after a full week or 2 of training. Thanks for the note Larry! You're a stand up guy.
