Does anyone know of this ZMA supp.? I heard it raises testosterone and obviously works to make you stronger? I'm 17 started bulking been eating about 3500 calories a day and my metabolism keeps burning it off. Not really gaining any weight? Anyone know of some safe supp. like this? (for a 17 yr old) Or should i just keep eating MORE so my metabolism cant burn it off

Eat more if your still not gaining weight up every macro nutrient not just carbs raise all 3,

Here's my view on ZMA's though

I love ZMA's i don't use them for the test boost but for the deep sleep, if i remember rightly they only raise testosterone if your deficient in zinc which if your taking your multi-vit and eating properly shouldn't happen,
still if you got some spare cash they aren't that expensive see how you you like them, just remember not to take them with any calcium as it blocks the absorption of zinc and i think the magnesium as well?

Correct you may only absorb as little as 30% of the zinc, im not sure if calcium and magnesium compete but i have a feeling they do,

i posted about ZMA on here a while ago. to boil it down, ZMA was developed for professional athletes by barry bonds' "steroid supplier" BALCO (victor conte)

he obviously had knowledge in bodybuilding and supps, HOWEVER if you are not deficient in zinc, magnesium, or b6 vitamins it will basically do nothing for you.

if you train like an animal, take it. if its average training, pass on it more of a waste of money.

i train like an animal and the soreness used to be ridic but my buddy told me about the ZMA and some Glutamine powder. still sore, but def sleep better and the soreness is not as intense.

Ex: leg day + Running = me not being able to sit down to stand up lol. take this been able to run every day, and hit legs no problem. kinda takes out the stiffness.

ZMA is a small-scale product, I would compare it to creatine at it's best. It's a sleep supp like Arginine or casein. Do not put so much faith in supps, do that with food, rest and intensity in the gym and a positive mindset.

As for raising test, bro being 17 you've maybe not even hit your peak yet. Your body will never again produce as much testosterone so just keep the diet clean and big, eat and rest, don't worry about raising your test levels for at least 6 or 10 more years.

stay on it then, it seems like it would be beneficial for you considering your workout schedule
