racism in bodybuilding

why?
I noticed on this board one of the rules is against racist stuff

but at some of the other forums
it was kill blacks this, kill blacks that
monkeys....

every kinda name but child of God

whats up with that, I would think of any sport BB would be the one to overcome that.

at the same time
I can't but notice who gets 90% of the Muslce & Fitness/Flex covers...

50% of all racist rummors is comming from chris cormiers mouth, recist judges here and racis judges there. Biggest whinner in the sport.

I personally view bodybuilding as a sport which manages to overcome racial lines with far greater success than many other sports that are prevelant in today's society. I see fairly equal representation from many different races in the bodybuilding scene.

IMO, unfortunately race will always be an issue as long as people walk the face of the earth. In those cases where race is not an issue, religion, wealth, politics etc. quickly swoop in to take the place of race as a dividing factor. Basically what it comes down to IMO is that people are bastards and most of them/us thrive on creating an atmosphere where "us" vs. "them" is the common environment. This atmosphere provides many people with a sense of security and belonging, and serves as a scapegoat when things dont go their way

ONE OF THE SPORTS WHERE RACISM DON 'T EXIST IS BB OR IS VERY RARE.MOST OF MR OLYMPIAS ARE BLACKS,THERE RE MORE BLACK WINNERS THAN WHITES IN PRO CONTESTS.
IN MAGAZINE THE SAME ,COUNT THE PICTURES THERE ARE NOT A BIG DIFFERANCE.

The way I see it, the reason why there are of white bodybuilders on the cover of magazines or getting more of the contract is more of a business thing rather than a racist thing. Think about it there are less young black males into bodybuilder buying protein powder. More young white males are into that I think its more of a business thing to put more pic of the jay cutlars, matt duvall, chris cook and marcus ruhl than it is to put ronnie coleman or chris comier. It still a fair sport cos at the end of the day the guy with best body (most of the time) win the competitions. There have been more blacks olympians than whites so compared to other sports bodybuilding is for all champions of different races.

well dude, if you listen to it and you genuinely examine how people are and what their motives are and how they act towards people it's true. BUT I HAVE A DIFF VIEW ON THE N WORD THAN MOST PEOPLE. I BELIEVE IT'S NOT DEVOTED TO RACE. ANYONE CAN BE AN N WORD. IT'S MORE ABOUT IGNORANCE THAN RACE.
