Holy **** my right knee hurts so bad I can't even unbend it. What did I do?! I think it was the leg extensions because I never do them and if I make that same extension movement right now, well I can't. It hurts right behind the bone of my knee on the inside. Does this sound like a tendon to anyone, it feels like the tendon in my elbow that hurt from pitching.

Thats what Houdini said, and then he died from appendicitis.

lol, I'm just being a smart ass, but if your knee doesn't feel better in a few days Mike go see your doctor. Leg extensions suck for your knees.

Yeah, leg extensions are horrible for the knees. That's part of the irony of people saying squats are bad for the knees, and then they go over and do their leg ext. When I used to do leg ext., the lower edge of my knee cap would hurt the day of and day after. Just let it rest for a few days. By Wednesday, I would consult a professional.

I think leg extensions are pretty pointless. You will gain strength in the quads from squats and leg presses. I tried doing them for a bit then stopped for a few months and tried them again and could still use the same weight which says to me I didn't loose anything by not doing them.

I'd wait.. LOL.

With knees, unless its broken, you'll need an MRI. $2000 later, you'll know what you did, if anything.

That should about wrap it up for leg extensions for ya.. The only place I feel they are relevant is in rehab.

Well it matters like did you lift 100 lbs or was it the stack like 320 lbs? Warm up prior helps a lot, a few warm up sets you know.

Oh it was a middle exercise in my quad routine, I was warmed up and I only got up to like 110lbs. I'm actually fine this morning though so I'd say it's nothing to worry about. I love the ability to recover haha.
