Im sure freakster was referring to the "your doing it wrong your not gonna get any gains that way" guy, not the nice dude complimenting your physique.

I can't say they really bother me. I have to laugh whenever I see one just going from machine to machine. These guys need some direction.

i did, they basically took me under their wing and i learned a lot, my pb's wouldn't be that high without them my max bench was 155 in september and i didn't know how to squat or deadlift. Deadlift they tought me squat i had to teach myself but they aided a lot in it.

Good gracious dude, let's talk. Your strength has shot up quite a bit, and I need me summa that (the strength increase, not you. no offense of course.).

Was it mostly just tips they gave you or what? PM if that's more kosher, don't want to hijack the thread.

There's really not much to it, they just fixed my form alot but one big thing they gave me was motivation. When you're lifting with a guy whos warming up with 3plates on the bench you get fired up. Big thing though was they lightened my weights up a lot fixed my form motivated me and eventually my lifts just shot up if they didn't make me lighten up i swear i was about to herniate a disk, on the side i did a lot of reading into pling. I also had a good first bulk :)

Yeah because pl's form actually requires some balls and is usually alot more precise. I rarely see bb's doing strict, full form.

The main difference between bbding form and powerlifting is in a powerlifting squat, for example the legs are more spread to allow for my strength. The arched back and the wide grip on the bench is another example. Most powrlifters will sumo deadlift for more strength also.

^^^Working on a 300 bench, 400 squat and 500 deadlift at 165. Check it out in my log^^^

“Why are you doing dumbbell curls on a Bosu ball with one leg bent and your eyes closed while whistling Dixie?”
Go squat!
