WOW! That alarm idea is the most ridiculous petty thing ever. Obviously whoever made it was very intimidated when someone grunted during a heavy set.

nice post man

"I am a member of Planet Fitness and it amazes me to see this review... Interestingly enough, it comes down to social psychology, do you go to the gym to improve yourself or to stroke your ego by " Look at me, I can lift THIS much, Look at me! I need attention, I need to feel like what I am doing is worthwhile and to feel that I am better than YOU!" Fair enough, so you don't receive enough attention in your own personal life, so you need to rely on those physically inferior than yourself"

are you fucking kidding?!? LOLOLOL STROKE OUR EGO? this guy needs to swallow a knife

An alarm of rage went off in my head when I started reading some of the BS commentary of the User Feedback. Check this out:

and also:

insecurities
sounds like someone has personal problems. from the moment you wakled in ,the purple made you insecure. masculinity issues maybe? sometimes when one has such problems.. they tend to think the world is against them and are very "touchy" from the start. Otherwise, it isn't appropriate to take your insecurties out on those who are making use of the gym.. even the 80 lb max. if you are so much better than the reat, im certain the gym wouldnt mind you taking your insecurities elsewhere.

These types of idiots make me sick to my stomach. The humans that wrote these comments represent the epitomy of human mediocrity. By nature, the gym is supposed to be a masculine place. Who the F wants to workout in a purple-painted gym. Pansies! Insecurity - BULL F^CKING SH!+ Honestly the whole world is against us, we are the people who still believe in pride, honor, and self-respect. Our society has no value for those traits anymore - everyone wants to take it easy these days. Yea millions of years of evolution couldn't prepare me for this type of crap.

Know & trust in who you are, and nothing else matters.

i too was enraged everytime i read about these stupid rules.

if i was at that gym i would probably take out my ninja sword and cut anybody in half who tells me to keep it down.

and when it was time to do my dumbbell rows and i saw a dumbbell only went up to 80lbs, i would go to the CEO, and throw that 80lbs dumbbell in his face.

obviously, this isn't a gym for bodybuilders guys.

Planet fitness is the worst gym in existence. They should add book shelves next to the squat rack in case people want to catch up on their latest fantasy book.

My god, I can't believe they have an alarm. Some of my farts are pretty loud, I wonder if one of them would set it off.
