IDEA for the BBD Contest

Ok so i was thinking of how to improve on the communication between Trainer and Trainee for the contest. I'm figuring that most pairs live far apart and making phone calls would be Long Distance and it can get tiring shooting questions/info/comments/blahblahblah through typing. My idea is to use the Team Speak program. If you have never heard of this it is a program that allows people to communicate verbally from computers around the world. All you need is to dowload the Team Speak program (*Free), have a mic, speakers (or a headset), and of course a working internet connection. If you guys/gals are interested in doing this i am willing to set it up, admin, and pay for it. So what do you think?

Youre willing to pay for something free thats kind of you haha Im kidding man.Seems like a decent idea for people who would rather talk.I personally would rather send him emails so we can remember what was said and go back to it if we need to.

haha renting the server ain't free but getting the program is free....

I realize it's still good to have things saved in e-mails but there might also be times when talking one on one can be helpful, think it would give a more hands on approach. I mean don't you want to be able to yell at your trainee??? haha

*would only cost me $25 to rent a 25 slot server for 3 months

Personally I wouldnt use it because ive not got anything to speak on, but its a good offer that others might take up

if you guys have a web cam and a mic, you can sign up for a free justin.tv account

thats the web address, and since its a webcam you can actually see their bodys

I know Zack doesn't have MSN.

There's an alternative called Xfire, it's free to download and you don't need to pay for any servers, I've used it before and think it's good. I think you can only have 1 on 1 conversations.
