o man i feel ya its pisses ya off but youll be ready for tomarrow. the first thing you wanna do is get the swelling down and second use that little extra pain to get you pissed and give you drive in the gym and you'll have a great workout, thats what i do.take some sort of ibuprofen tonight and early in the day to get swelling and pain down. To treat a jammed finger with no signs of dislocation or fracture, a warm soak in an Epsom salt bath should provide some relief as well. Sports creams contain analgesics or warming agents could also be applied to the affected finger to provide some muscular pain relief and reduce swelling.

You don't need all your fingers to press weight, lol. But pulling weight hmmm, good luck cos that's gonna hurt. On that note all jokes aside, I have a friend with only 2 fingers & a thumb & he can train just fine

RICE: Rest, Ice, Compression and elevation as soon as you have an accident that causes bruising, this speeds up the recovery time.

Compression with a bandage ( dont put it on too tight) and elevating the injury preferable above the heart level assists in limiting the amount of swelling and reducing this along with ice treatment can help in the process of recovery
