The big mean guy in our gym

okay the gym i go to is very clean the type that like Avg joe goes if you know what i mean, but i mean i dont care as long as they have the machines and things its good for a couple yrs, we have a really big guy in there ( the only big guy i have seen in 15 months) he won the provincials in canada, and he is always in a depressed mood and dont see him talking to anyone, aroudn 35 yrs of age. i always say hi to him and one time i tried to talk to him to get some advice from him , i was like i would like to compete and its first my first time and i want to be a pro like you,, how should i get started in here?, he was like thats good, everybody wants to be a bodybuilder and he said that and left for his set. i still see him but he acts as he is ignoring me, lol. anyway i just liked to share this with you guys

people always talk to me, im always pretty friendly......maybe that dude is just tired of shit and maybe thought you were mocking him or something ya know?

Well maybe He's just not friendly and doesnt want to talk to anyone...He is probably focused and more intrested in getting the job done in the gym rather than talking to people and shit...
But who knows...As ECH said maybe he thought you were mocking him or something like that....

try talking to him during cario instead of weights. i hate it when people want to have a conversation in the middle of my routine, maybe he's the same way.

I don't think that makes him mean. I don't like talking to people when I workout.

I am a cool guy but in the gym I like to get it done and get out.Im usually not rude but Im sure I look like an ass.I put my ipod on and turn it up loud as hell and get down to business.I have to stay focused.

I'm the friendlyist guy outta the gym, but gym is my time. Rather not talk, just push weight's. Which is why i'm there.

I get really annoyed with people try to talk to me in the gym unless they genuinely wanna learn something.

I can kinda understand where he's coming from, but on the other hand he could've at least been a bit nicer.

maybe you should've talked to him after his workout.

i don't talk to ppl when i'm working out so some people have percieved me as an asshole. i'll talk between my set but once it's time, i don't care what you're saying, i'll put my headphones on and do my set. lot of ppl walk away mad. they don't understand.

if someone asked me a broad question like that, i would ask them if it could wait until later or i'd get their email address.

maybe he had his next exersise planned and either didn't want anyone to take his machine or he didn't wanna cool down talking to you.
