Whats the wackiest thing youve ever done in the gym to demonstrate your insanity, I mean intensity and dedication lol. Mine was in 1998 when I had broken my leg. I went to the gym to train my upper body and was fine till I decided to do a heavy set of dumbell fly's, I couldnt put my foot down and became unbalanced and fell off the bench and had to be rushed back into hospital to have my leg reset. Whats are your funniest, daftest stories of over dedication?

Something real similar to yours man. After my knee surgery I went to the gym with my brace on and went to do incline bench.Barbell.I forgot about my knee and went to strain on the last rep by putting my foot down and when i did.It hurt like hell and i jerked my leg up and lost balance and me and the barbell were leaning real far to the right about to fall.I pulled a muscle in my shoulder trying not to let the weight go because i was afraid it would hit somebody.I didnt fall thanks to the two WOMEN working beside me.Nothing was hurt worse than my ego lol

been injury free since i started lifting, so luckily nothing happens (knock on wood). however ive gotten pretty sick twice, pneumonia first so i took a few days off, got so sick of doing nothing that i decided to go to the gym a week and a half later, huge mistake, couldnt breathe, and left the gym 10 minutes after i got in. had to go back home to the doctors because all that day my chest felt like it was in serious pain and was filled with even more fluid than when i first got sick, ended up prolonging the pneumoniam, so learned my lesson, when you're sick DONT LIFT!

I broke my hand punching out a car window one weekend (not very proud of this) and then continued going to the gym the next week after only 2 days rest from this and was doing DB flat bench with just 4 fingers holding in my left hand. If it wasn't for my spotter I would have dropped a set of 95's on my face.... Not the smartest thing I've ever done.

Prove my dedication.. well lets see. Before I worked the job I'm at now, I worked for ALCOA..

Down town pittsburgh..I worked 7 am to 15:30 mon - fri.. I would wake up at 4am. Drive to my gym be at the door by 5am. Do my workout. Be done by at least 6am. Clean up / change cloths, drive in traffic down town to work..so when I was done at work I would be able to go home..

Now granted all that was before my lovely wife and I had our first child.. ahem.. I'm not able to do anything like that anymore..

After I dislocated my knee in 2005, I went to the gym a week after that with a full leg cast on my right leg and a limp, imagine how akward that was. I did like 3 sets of barbell curls before I realized I was out of place and everybody was looking at me like some crazy person. and yes I left immediately
