So Saturday I made my girlfriend (of several years - we've actually been together for almost 8 years) an Easter basket - all her favorite expensive dark chocolates. I went over to her condo to hide it so she could find it Easter morning and while looking for a place to hide it...found a few open packs of condoms that had nothing to do with me. She admitted she's been cheating on me for the last year...
Fuck. 8 years down the drain.
Of course, I went to the gym and hit new personal bests in all my chest/arms and did 60 minutes of cardio afterwards...
Guess it's time to spruce myself up and put myself back on the market. Good news is I've lost 18 pounds so far this year (252->234) and have gained a ton of strength (my squat last year was a measly 90# and now I'm doing 260#; also gained a lot in bench and other areas). Not bad for a 5'7" 38-year-old.
So to cut down fast/safe, I'm thinking of switching to a CKD diet. I'm kind of a low-carb eater, just because I try to get 200g of protein a day, and have been losing pretty good...doing the math, about 1.5 lbs a week. Fuck, I'm ready to go do 2 hours of cardio a day every day...
Thank God for that workout endorphin drenching.
