I don't know if anyone else has this problem. Some days I look in the mirror and just think WOW...I'M AWESOME. Others tho I'll look in the mirror and be slightly disgusted. I just feel smaller. Anyone else ever get this?

yea, no worries its a mental barrier, thats why its tough when i sometimes take a week off, those non workout days for the first couple, i feel fine when looking in the mirror, but after it gets to be 4-5 days without working out i look terrible. km jotted it down on his log as well, he was going through a phase when everytime he looked in the mirror he looked like he wasn't gaining any sufficient size. its mental bud, those are things all of us as bodybuilders have to deal with, just dont let that affect your exercises.

yeah man, it's strictly mental. I feel it all the time whenever i don't train or i don't drink enough. It's completely mental, but it's gonna happen. it's also got to do with confidence at times, but that could lead into a whole other discussion. But yeah dude, u'll be aight. we all go through it.

^ and ^^ agreed completely.

And other times w/ clothes on, the materials flatter your form, best to do it w/o clothes [in privacy, lol!] and do some poses and flexes.

Never let your mental thoughts of inadequency fuck with your workouts, fully concentrate on the muscles, the flex and form, forget about your 'not looking so good yesterday in the mirror' days.

I agree with everyone its all mental. I look in the mirror and actually say to myself your to small you gotta train harder, eat more, etc... This makes me work harder in the gym cause no one likes second place or being the smaller guy. Try it when your working out it makes me push myself a lot harder. Just a suggestion
