Hi could everyone help me out by filling this questionnaire out to help me with my college work...would be a great help...

I AM CONDUCTING RESEARCH INTO THE REASONS BODYBUILDRS TAKE SUPPLEMENTS AND WHICH THEY TAKE.

• Age?

• Gender?

• Years training?

• Do you compete?

• Are you bulking or cutting?

• Do you take supplements?

• What?

• Why? specific e.g to improve recovery, increase intake etc.

• How long have you been taking them?

  • Why: I use it strictly as an aid to the nutritional aspect of my training. I focus more on my nutritional intake rather from supplementation.
  • How long: 5 months, or so.

• What? Multi-vitamin, whey protein, creatine monohydrate, fish oil, MSM/Glucosamine, Dextrose.

• Why?
  • Multi-vitamin for essential nutrients that helps the body work properly
  • whey protein for its fast digestion post workout and its high bio-availability
  • creatine monohydrate for its increase in strength and endurance for explosive exercise
  • fish oil for its EFAs and purity from mercury, it also helps with mental alertness and the heart
  • MSM/Glucosamine for its joint help, father has bad knees and im pretty active
  • Dextrose for its insulin response post workout, and its direct targeting of muscle glycogen stores.
• How long have you been taking them? Most of them, for about 8 months. Whey protein and multi-vitamin for 12 months, at least.

I take supplements:

Whey protein: 5 months. I need extra protein to build and maintain muscle.
Glucosamine: 8 years. For joint health; i have arthritis.
Hot-roxx: 2 months. For energy, to help fat burning, for a bit of a testosterone boost.
Se7en: Less than 1 month. Heard it has good muscle building properties for women, trying it out to see if i'll keep taking it.

Is there anything else we can do to help your research?
