iam 23 years old i train (seriously) since two and half years in average 3 times in the week ,, but lately i felt that iam overtraining and may hurt myself (specially left elbow and lower back ) and i tend to rest in the bed for long times in the day that decrease my other day activities so i decided to stop for one month ,, my question is that may decrease my size and trenght seriously ?

muscle size and strength tends to go down after about 4 weeks of inactivity. You could always just lighten ur load and keep training, just not as hard. You don't have to stop training for a month.

i thought about your idea but i doesnot match with my personality ,, either i do the job 100% or not doing it at all ,, for example if i decided to deadlift one day i cant simply stop at 315 , i will consider my self didnt train at all ,, it is a real problem to me

true, and you have to do what's best for you. the only thing about that is that that could cause u to lose progress and when u do train u'd have a better chance of over training. This could lead to some bad shit. but yeah, you gotta do what's best for you man.

Its not all that bad.But might want to watch your diet in this time period.Be easy to gain fat w/o working out.if you just stay a litle active and eat good this could be a good way to shock your body into some newfound growth.

I say take the month off. Unless you're competing, what's the point in lifting if it's hurting you and making you miserable? Take time off, relax and go back as you see fit. Damaging something like your elbow or back is going to be a lot worse than a slight drop in size. If you keep on and do get an injury there's a chance you'll have to stop lifting for more than a month for it to recover. Why risk it?

How are you hurting yourself though? Taking a break will help, but if theres something wrong with what your actually doing while your working out then its just a matter of time until your in the same situation again.

Well there's a little something called muscle memory that is great! lol! I was out for 3 months with bilateral tendonitis and lost 10 pounds. When I got back I had to start slow, not cause I wanted to just so I wouldn't reinjure my shoulder, but when I got back to heavy lifted my muscles responded amazingly! I gained the weight back pretty easy. A month rest shouldn't hurt ya to much. Sometimes its a good thing.

Deconditioning is always accepted when you need a break. which is a minimal effort training just to keep your muscle fibers responsive. You could take a complete break off if you'd like, you'll gain what you lost sooner than you think.

Like said above, muscle memory.
