i just got my blood checked and asked for my T levels. im not sure how to read it though. it says 791ng/dl > 245. can anyone tell me what the hell that means? lol. thanks a lot.

The lab where you got it done should include the reference range for you. Check over the report again.

791 is good, the range is 300 to 1200. Most common is 400 to 800, so you got a good natural level.

Actually I just got my checked while on deca & tren, 300mg/week deca and 100mg/ week tren. They told me that the natural range was 245 - 835, I came in at 890. I was on for 10 weeks before testing.

Also LDL (bad cholesterol) slightly elevated as expected, good cholesterol was a slight bit low but this is expected. Now running Liquidex .05 mg ED. Will bring up my T to natural levels and also eliminate upto 80% of estrogen. Lost a bit of water weight.

1200 is a ton of test are you sure you have the right range?

I have been checking the ranges. It seams different labs have different scales. Some even have different units. I think the 1200 max was listed in one of the labs as an absolute max. A sort of theoretical max. The lab I delt with the other day has 800 listed as a max.

He did say that 400-800 is the norm, 1200 is acceptable but probably pushing it

Plasma free testosterone
380 pmol/L listed in a range of 90 to 580
Plasma total testosterone
14.6 nmol/L range listed in a range of 10 to 28


LDL (bad cholesterol) 3.1 mmol/L

My quick guide here
Concentraion of a liquid is measured in mols.
ng/dl stands for nanograms per decilitre
pmol/L stands for picograms per litre

They actually mean the same

i had mine checked a couple of months ago, i had a 155ng/dl. the doctor told me the normal low was 230ng/dl. i on test injections now

up here in canada, range is 10-28pmol... i was 11, started HRT and now 28pmol...feel LOADS better...

incidently ive seen labs in the states go as high as 1500 i think...

10-28pmol is the standard range for total testosterone. I have only ever seen that range used.

I have seen some labs go to a max of 1500 too as in 300 to 1500 range.

How do you feel better with the HRT? Do you mean in a well being kind of way or as in weight training?
