An embarassing thing happened

I was at the gym today doing my back workout. My gym is actually a 'health club', anyway I was doing deadlifts. I always feel confident and strong deadlifting because at the health club its very rare to see 100kg loaded onto a barbell (like I said, health club). I had just completed my final set and started to remove the weights from the bar, it was just above knee height. The plates are sticky to get of the bar sometimes and have to be sort of 'jiggled' off (im sure you know what im talkin about). As the last 20kg plate was being slid of the bar my quad got pinched in between the hole in the plate and the bar! That awful pinching pain shocked me, and really hurt. I dont think I let out a shriek, but I'm not positive. The pain was intense, and a bruise came up instantly and was all raised and painful. My eyes were watering, and any confidence that I had felt seconds before was immediately diminished. I immediately loaded the bar up for some bent over rows, mainly so I wouldn't have to look at anyone untill my eyes were dry. Damn it hurt, and I was so embarrased.

That's not embarrasing. Farting or having the squirts while doing intense lifting is embarrasing. Doing incline ab workouts while wearing soccer shorts with no underwear with your balls hanging out is embarrasing. Managing to gain love handles and muffin tops in a matter of two weeks and then going to the gym is embarrasing. Knowing you forgot your deodorant and you stink like ass while working out is embarrasing.

dropping a 45 lb plate on your ankle and having to be carried out by emts is embarassing!!!!!!

probably my most embarassing moment was- ok you know how barbells can hold like more weight on one side that the other. i didnt understand how, but i didnt know the limit of it. so i was unloading the barbell on the squat rack. and i left 2 45lb plates on one side and the other had none. the whole thing flipped and all the weights came off.... made a huge noise too

you noe what i find absoloutly halerious, number one when u take ur gf (which is m ex now) and get her to run fast with u on the treadmill next to u and see her full fly off and get smasehd into the back wall was almost impossible no to lough lol. I noe its cruel but i havea right considering she blasted me after i tied to help her infront of every body. another thing is when u see new peeps wlak into the gym who do benchpress and forget theres weight on the other side and pull a plate off and see the weight fly of the benchpress station. lol now thats fucking funny. take care

Bench pressing a weight that your not able to handle with no spotter. You can't talk because you are pushing so hard so the weight doesn't slowly crush your chest and rib cage as people look at you thinking that was a dumb thing to do. Eventhough its your stupid fault its still embarrasing.

yo that thing with your ex girlfriend made me laugh so fucking hard.

i think my next door neighbor might have thought i was getting raped or killed or something but i was just laughing.

i was in the gym once with my dad and that shit happended. i'm laughing right now as i think about it.

some very old lady was on the treadmill going mad fast and she she fell and flew back and hit the wall.

i almost pissed my pants.

Hahaha the same shit happened to my dad. Funny thing is, he was mockinhg the wrist strap that you put on that auto-shuts off the treadmill if you do fall.

Aslo, farting while deadlifting is a terrible curse.

AND I've done benches with no spotter, with weight that I could handle, but I just kept going for one last rep, then another last rep, then another... then oh shit.... stuck! That only happened once, never again, I was so embarrased.

Also just doing cleans, which I have good form on, but one rep I just lost my balance.... yeah that barbell came crashing down.

the first time i took my freind, now my training partner to the gym, he farted on lying leg curls and incline sit ups. he stank the place up! i was laughing my balls of lol and they were quite loud lol

LOL back in the first month, i brought my friend to the gym, he farted really loud on the machine where you lean back. it was too heavy for him and he farted omg me and my 3 friends were laughing so fucking hard, i was extremely close to pissing my pants laughing. also wat makes me laugh raelly hard is, the tricep extension machine, and people hold it backwards and push down. THE KILLER ONE IS, THESE TWO NOOBS WERE KEEPING A LOG, THEY WERE DOING ROPE PULLDOWNS, LITERALLY HIS BODY JUMPS UP IN THE AIR AND COULDNT EVEN BRING IT DOWN TO HIS LOWER STOMACH, AND HE GOES YES O BABY 50 POUNDS, YO WRITE THAT SHIT DOWN. OMG THAT MADE ME PISS MY PANTS 5 TIMES

Well they gotta start somewhere. If 50 lbs is an improvement, more power to them. (I can see why it would be funny, but that would be hipocritical of me since I was once a noob). If they were showing off that would be a different story. I used to document my workouts especially in the early days since thats the time you could see the most improvement.
