i find myself spending all my money in this sport and lifestyle.

food cost alot and hey we have to have food, supplements i limit but some you just have to have them, ie, proteins, creatine.

does everyone esle find this sport expensive, like i dont workout for a sport i just do it for the lifestyle, i like beeing fit and will continue to work on getting bigger and more defined.

whats everyones take?

its a lifestyle, your either in or out. its like playing lacrosse growing up, if you cant commit yourself to it i.e. off the field training, diet, lifting, studying...and on the field with equiptment, you cant play it. question isn't a matter of how much you can afford, its a question of how bad you want it. its not just filling out shirts, its that extra 5 lbs you want. yes its expensive, and is it worth it...absolutly.

it dosnt matter what lifestyle you choose to dedicate your life to, if you really put all your heart, blood and soul into it, it will cost a hell of a lot of money.

I actually find it cheaper to do bodybuilding than anything else. I buy food in bulk now and never did before.

Its a good question? do i personally find bodybuilding expensive? expensive in monetry terms? I am addicted as hell to it, so it is my passion in life to be the best at It I can be, therefore the cost as you improve and progress like any other sport gets more expensive, so to me its not expensive if I have the opportunity to fulfil my dream. Expensive in relationships? the danger is we are driven, thats why we are competitors, we want to be the best that we can be and friends, lovers and family are often asked to take a back seat when we are in the tunnel vision of competition, so if youre not careful, it can certainly cost you! Is it expensive to other people? Yes but the same people who tell you its too much to pay to improve yourself will think nothing of spending the same money on their own lifestyle and I sooner spend money trying to improve myself than getting pissed every week. So I guess as others have said the cost is relative, providing your not adversely affecting the lives of your family and children either socially or economically!
