Hey all u big fellas :)

got to questions :)

the first one ...

In 2 weeks im going for a skiing vacation, it lasts for 1 week, ive searched and found out that sadily the place havent got a BB center.. so i cant WO.. any of u got some basic or other kind of way to just make some halfway exausting WO's.. ? .. so that i can keep my strength up ? ,, i hate if i miss just one training so if i miss all 3 trainings that week my whole vacation will be ruined i know, because i will only be thinking of the weights back here in denmark missing me so much! and i will surely miss them! ...

the second one..

my mom is very curious about what supplements i take to my training, (im only 17 :) ) and she wont allow me to take aminoacids, because the product explanation says something about it being build up anabolicley or sumthing heh,, well can any of u give me some feedback if its worth the struggle to get it allowed by her, is the money well given for aminoacid or can i just as good keep on the creatine and weight gainer ? :)

best regards magnus

answer to your first Q: just do loads of press ups, sit ups squats, lunges, all without weights obviously and do different variations. its good to have a week off every now and again for optimum recovery. if you have milk jugs, you can do the milk jug workout which can be found on the web.

answer to your 2nd Q: if you are still new to bodybuilding, personally il just stick to basic supplements. but its your choice. show your mom the definititon of anabolic and it is not always linked to steroids. amino acids should create a anabolic environment in your body, therefore promoting growth e.t.c. supplements are ment for that purpose, supplementing a solid diet. DO NOT become dependant upon them. nothing can replace foods

thirdly, i suggest that you read tonnes of books and online articles, preferbally on bodybuilding.com to expand your BB knowledge

the first one..
taking a break from lifting hard core once in a while isnt gonna make or break you, especially at your age. You could always just do simple exercises like push-ups, sit ups, and squats.

For the second one...
If i were you, keeping in mind that you are 17, i would take protein shakes and just eat shit load of meat. Get some Optimum 100% Whey Protein, that stuff is basically egg and whey protein, it wont mess u up at all. But if ur mother wont let u, just stick to eating lots of red meats and nuts!

i only want to answer the second question..

I am only 15 years old. I take amino acids, as they are great to get in when u wake up in the middle of the night and are feeling kind of hungry.. whoopy! 5g protein right there...
also if u have a meal and dont have the time to get in all the protein, whoopy! 5 g protein in tablets...

the fact that it says it is anabolic, means that it builds muscle, and it goes really fast to the muscle so it is very anti catabolic..

I would say stick to the whey and creatine, but if u can afford it, get some good amino acid tablets too

(only bi-effect u might jump into is that u might experience some trouble when going to the toilet for the first time in the morning... it can be kinda loose or however u say it.)

Agree treat the week off as a postive time to rest and recuperate! youll come back stronger for the time off!

i see no problem taking amino acids at any age, thats like saying that.... you shouldnt take a multi-vitamin before a certain age, amino acids are natural and are the building blocks of muscle and from the time a person is consumed in their momm'as belly they are growing muscle tissue

if you took the time to build a good solid foundation with heavy basic movements in the first place then taking time off wouldnt be a worry its people who just piss about with high reps and machines and dumbobells that just build pumpers muscle that disapear as soon as you take any time off .

1 dont worry about it, take the week off but still keep your high caloric diet

2 being anabolic only means being in a state of muscle building.. its a good thing
