the tank method is the gold method all others are judged against the calipers are only as accurate as the skill of the operator using them and can be a lot off , impedence is about 20% inaccurate and near infa red (the system i use) is .1% either way but the one i use costs over £3,500 but makes getting someone into a possitive nitrogen balance a lot easier or predicting their condition right to the very day of the comp
if you can afford one you seen how much they cost ? mine cost enough but they are just out of reach , wasted on the people they do test in them they only needed to look in a mirror
I think they are around 40k. The nearest place around me that has one is a university and they only allow their ""athletes"" to use them which is total BS. They are a D1 Big 12 school that sucks. Yeah like you said none of their athletes need to worry about their bf, even the wrestlers... probably only get down to 6 or 7%.
