yo, last week, i did deadlifts and i managed 345lbs for 2 reps.

today, i did deads and i managed 365lbs for 2 easy reps and 385lbs for one easy rep.

wtf? why is my strength going up like this? about 2 or three months ago, i was only doing 300lbs for 1 hard rep.

anyway, i was in a real rush toady so i could only do 3 exersises but it was amazing.

deadlift

1x10 - 135lbs
1x8 - 185lb
1x6 - 225lbs
1x4 - 275lbs
1x4 - 315lbs
1x2 - 365lbs
1x1 - 385lbs
1x6 - 315lbs

hacksquat

1x10 - 1 45lbs plate on each side
1x10 - 2 plates
1x8 - 2 plates, one ten, and one five
1x10 - 2 plates, and one 25

Leg extension

1x15 - 100lbs
1x15 - 160lbs
1x12 - 205lbs
1x12 - 225
1x15 - 160lbs
1x15 - 175lbs

and that was it, i had to go. i didn't do hamstrings but that's ok cuz i do legs twice a week.
and don't ask why i do deadlifts with legs. thats' just how i like it.
it was just one of those days where i felt really strong! i'm proud of my new record for deadlifts.
it was just such a good workout. after having a few bad ones in a row this week, i feel great.

anyway, just thought i'd share that to anyone that might possibly care.

Nice work! Growth/strength is cumulative but not linear.

You work out pretty late.

what do you mean not linear? does that mean that strength gains are not constant/consistant?

No, I just mean that just because you increase weight, X amount this week doesn't mean you will increase X amount next week. Over time you will make gains.

Pertaining to your question,

"wtf? why is my strength going up like this?"

I know you know that but I was trying to answer your question about why you saw a jump in weight all of the sudden.. cumulative effect of consistent training.

If you normally do higher reps you will not be used to low rep work. Maybe it was just down to practising low rep work.
