hey guys. by looking at your own physique, what would you say are your weak points and what would you say are your strong points?
you can talk about how much you lift too if you want.
Weak points
my whole front side pretty much. i think i'm happy with pec size but i still look like a 14 year old diesel kid. lol. maybe because i'm 19 and develope slow and havn't matured from the front yet. maybe it's because i have too much fat in the front and if i cut i would look more adult. maybe i just need to add more size?
the most i've dont with flat dumbell bench press is 80lbs dombells for 6 reps! i've seen skinny guys do more reps than that. oh well. i won't give up. by my flat bench with the barbell is 225lbs for 4 reps and 205 for 6 reps.
and even when i'm cut, my abbs have a very weird shape to them and they are uneven.
another weak point of mine is my arms. I think they're kinda big and definatly strong but they're having a hard time keeping up with the rest of my body.
my arms are 15 1/2 inches. I'm 5 '4. you can see the horse shoe on my left tricep but not on my right. both biceps have the same peak but my right one is longer.
another weak point is my calves. about 6 months ago, they were 12 inches. now they are 13 1/2. so they're growing but very slow and it looks funny compared to my quads.
another weak point of mine are my shoulders. i'm definatly happy with the size though. but they're weak. i've seen dudes do seated dombell presses with 50-60lbs dumbells with ease that looked kinda skinny. me, i have trouble with 45lbs. i only do 6-8 reps with 45lbs. and on seated barbell press i do 6 reps with 135lbs.
oh well.
and my hamstrings are pretty weak too. i'm happy with size (i think i would need someone to tell me if they're big or not cuz i have no idea), but i can only do lying leg curls with 95lbs for 10 reps. i've seen dudes with no quads do way more than that.
oh well
Strong Points
my strong points are my back (lower and upper) and my legs. i've done stiff legged deadlifts with 295lbs for 6 reps a couple months ago which i think is good. and i do dombell rows with 110lbs for 10 reps with ok form and 100lbs with perfect form. i do t-bar rows with 3 plates and one 25 with good form but i do 6 plates if i want to do the t-bar rows like jay cutler does.
on deadlifts, i've done 345lbs for 2 reps.
I have good genetics for legs. my dad was an olympic weightlifter and that sport is like all legs.
i go all the way down on my squats. i've done 275lbs for 4 reps (kinda easy last time. i'm gonna try 285lbs)
i did 205lbs for 8 reps on front squats.
on leg press, if i wanna do it like jay cutler, i can do 4 plates on each side and a ten and a five for 12 reps.
if i do it like kevin levrone (seat almost all the way up, feet together and toward the top of the sled), i can do almost 8 plates on each side. (jay cutler's way works my legs better. seat almost all the way down, feet somewhat separate and in the middle somewhere, and really deep reps).
man, i love bodybuilding and working out and talking about all this. |
