I don't know about you guys but unless something is related to bodybuilding I don't really show any interest in it anymore. Even this weekend for example, I was invited to a party on friday, I would've been able to eat alright, there were people there that I knew and wanted to hang out with, but none of them lift. So I didn't go.

Yesterday I went to sleep early so I could wake up early, so that I could meet up with Julio (Yes the Julio from here), so that I could show him a store that sells relativly cheap tuna, then we walked a mile somewhere else.

I really don't even dress up when I go out to school, I don't try to look well kept and all that. I just go straight for the clothes that are easiest to step into the gym with adn leave the house.

Do you guys do similar things?

Most definitly i do similar things but its all about finding a balance. You'll find yourself pretty unhappy if a few years from now all you have is the gym.... not that theres anything wrong with that, but it may stunt your liking for the gym. Similar situation is a girl, you fall deeply in love with a girl and you want to spend all your time with her and help your relationship grow, but in a few years you realize all you have is the girl. So IMO its best to find a balance of the things you used to enjoy with the bodybuilding lifestyle, or whats best is combine both. Find more things that fit your lifestyle that are fun, and not directly related.... like sports... etc. Ok im done rambling sorry to take up so much space.

?

Most of the time, my friends will ask me to hang out, but none of them are into lifting and only a few are into football, so I'll have nothing to talk about. They're like girls.

I love weightlifting, but you have to have a balance in life.

I'm still a kid, and I feel that if I was too into one thing, bodybuilding, football, etc, then I would miss out on something else. So i try and get a little bit of everything, but I do favor BBing over other stuff..

Life is about experiencing experiences

Jack, I have a few other hobbies here and there, like guitar. I just find that everything I do is linked back to bodybuilding, and I love it. I really got into lifting because of football, I was moderatly strong in highschool when I used to play with my friends, and I lifted more so I could be stronger, then I lifted so that I could bodybuild.

I have almost the same thing Ace, I have so many triple and four X shirts for lifting, I haven't bought any shirts that actually show off.

Being with a girl really takes the edge off though, especially one that likes that you lift. My best friend never liked, well, never understood why I wanted to look the way I want to. Its hard to find anyone that really appreciates it. My closest group of friends all like to lift, and that was lucky. They didn't have to be into bodybuilding persay, but its good to have people that just want to lift for the sake of lifting I guess.

And i'm writing this while eating my second can of tuna mixed with garlic powder for the day while reaching for my 1 gallon jug of water that is filled with a block of ice.

My life is lopsided toward school. When I have time I eat and lift. Those are my priorities. Frustrating having to be so inconsistent but that's life sometimes.

Yeah, school is a killer. Eating right during school is so hard and expensive if you don't preprepare your meals. I was going through like 10 dollars just for two meals a day in school, but now I bought my whey protein, so 1.50 a day for three servings :).

haha.... Nice. yeah incorporating bbing into your life is the best way to do it. I still have alot of friends that like to go out and drink, and i'll go with them and just chill, but i appreciate/respect my friends that lift alot more. My fiance likes that i lift, if i mention taking a break she reminds me that i get in a pissy mood if i dont lift.... :-/ ok i get bitchy when i dont get in contact with some iron... or ass, who doesnt right?
