Well it really up to the person training routine. Myself I do them with Shoulder's. But then everyone is different so your going to get mixed training routines. You be the judge and listen to your body.

its good to do it with shoulders, it indirectly works delts and it helps build up your rotator cuff, it also stretches everything out so do em on shoulder days

Agree with all of the above. I know people who do them on back day but if your doing deads too thats harsh. I found my traps to grow when I switched them to shoulder day

TRAPS ARE PART OF THE BACK AND SHOULD BE DONE WITH BACK..I DO THEM RIGHT AFTER BENTOVER BARBELL ROWS 225 LBS 3 SETS REAR SHRUGS AND 3 SETS FRONT SHRUGS..THIS IS THE PROPER WAY TO DO TRAPS...LOL

You are absoultley right. ACE. Although I think it depends on the persons workout. For me I put so much into Deads that its difficult to give 100% on my traps but when doing shoulders after hitting the rear delts your rear traps get pumped as well and it easy to jump in at the end and hit traps.

But doing them with back makes perfect sense.

Good point Ace. I talk to so many people who consider the traps a seperate muscle group apart from the back.

But again it does vary person to person. I can't do traps with back because it kills my grip, I don't find front or rear shrugs very comfortable anyway I try them, so I stick with straight dummbell shrugs. holding up 200 pounds on a barbell is a much easier experience than holding up two 100 pound dumbells with those little bars. :(

everyone has their own preference, i used to do them with back but felt like i wasn't getting the pump i normally am incoorporating traps into the regime, so i switched them to shoulders and can now put 100% on traps on shoulder day, and 100% on my back, on back day...works best for me.
